This project is a homage to my hometown, drawing inspiration from the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar. Brass, reminiscent of gold, forms the foundation of this piece, mirroring the pagoda's appearance. I also use artificial ruby as a sun with the process of tap and dye because Myanmar also produces a lot of beautiful ruby. Infused with Burmese aesthetics and patterns, this brooch serves as both a tribute to the beauty of my homeland and a celebration of its cultural richness.
